One of Timothy's favorite videos is Pocahontas.  He knows it almost by heart, including "The Colors of the Wind," which is performed in the video by Vanessa Williams.  Here is one of his latest renditions...

Christmas Blizzard 2012

An epic snowfall came to our state in the afternoon/evening hours of Christmas Day.  We had a "White Christmas"... and then some, with probably 15 inches falling in our corner of the world.  It's beautiful... and cold... and a coating of ice is expected overnight, so travel is dicey.  But we are loving the views from our window and watching the birds and squirrels scurry around the feeder... and we are eternally grateful that we never lost power!
