This photo is a few weeks old now, but for the most part, our cats have either ignored Timothy or cut him a wide berth... until this.Mabel discovered the playpen... and Lucy found some of Timothy's toys that were on a blanket in the floor and batted them around for a while.
Mabel jumped up on the window ledge, then down into the playpen. Once there, she had trouble determining how to exit. She could have eventually figured it out, but I gave her a little help, and she has not been back in - as far as I know!
