6.22.2007 Update

The brick is finished, the staircase is installed and the closets are nearly complete. Painters are painting baseboards and crown molding and will start final coats on the walls soon. The fireplace has its rock. It's looking like a HOUSE!!!

Things are "smokin'" at the new house on Timberline. Sheetrock is complete, the trim is being applied to doors and windows, doors are going in, and the garage doors are installed. The ceilings have been painted, and the painters are ready to begin in earnest. The brick masons have one long wall to finish on the back side of the garage. The rock masons should be back any day to add the rock to the fireplace. Everything is on or ahead of schedule... YEA!!!!!

We close on the Elmwood house on July 12. Stephen and Melissa Choate, the buyers, are anxious to get everything settled and put some of their personal touches on this house and make the move. Stephen was one of my first-grade students the first year I taught after college (we were BOTH babies!), so this is like selling to family members, and we are thrilled. We are hoping that everyone will be settled into new "digs" by the end of September, if not sooner!
